Soil Mechanics : Section A, B, C, and D

All of you are expected to practice all problems given in power point slides. Also you must practice all solved and unsolved problems given in your text book (Gopal Ranjan and ASR Rao : Basic and Applied Soil Mechanics). There will be no assignment in this course.
For awarding CA, test will be conducted in every tutorial classes. There will be on the spot assessment for all these tests. Further every student will be given a different problem to solve. The marks obtained in these tutorials will be counted towards your CA.
The problems in the test will be selected from the portion which has already been covered.

All of you must keep TWO separate NOTE-BOOKS for Soil Mechanics:

1) One "Class Notes" book for taking notes in the class.

2) Another "Tutorial Class" book for Class Tests, Assignments, & Quiz  ( internal marks are based on this.)

All the students must bring their "Scientific Calculator" whenever you have a class of  Soil Mechanics (SM) subject.
